About

Sometimes we play loud (electric), sometimes we play soft (acoustic), covers and originals, always a musical and literary journey. Usually a live practice full of happy oopses, explorations, and retakes. Books off-the-shelf are sometimes involved.

Leon

guitar, mixer, knobs

Leon is a professor, lawyer, and a doctor of music. His interests include complex yodeling, axe shredding, headwinds and crosswinds.

He attempts to play leads harnessing the energy of the group which develops 3D sound pollution models, writes differential soundscapes, and manufactures layered audio fantasies. In his free time he bakes raspberry pi.

Ryan 1.0

drums, vocals, bodyguard, sales, MC

The original drummer, there's been some machines to deal with. Michigan native, stick-wielding psycho, and main singer of the group. (Also killer on xylophone.) Trivia: Long, long ago, Ryan and Leon were in a boy-band together.

Matt D

bass, vocals, interesting t-shirts, beer

Longtime Coloradoan, winter enthusiast, and messy musical madman. Matt slaps the bass and occasionally yells. He will ride a bike through ice and snow for music and refreshments.

Mike TOYTCH

keys, piano, theory and mojo, also known as Marc

Of unknown origin, Mike descended from the ramp of a sphere hovering above Old Town during an eclipse. He quickly learned earth music and became a core element of Book Club.

Wren Dragonfire

singer and pianist

Warning: she bites!

A young padowan of music with an animal spirit. She brings energy and something special to the group as a regular guest. She's also our biggest fan, and often keeps Pru and other kiddos entertained drawing and doing quads around the store while we make noise.
